SIDGS has been working closely with Saanich Parks and Recreation and we are proud to announce that the Layritz Disc Golf Course is ready to play! The course was designed and built by SIDGS through a partnership with Saanich and is a Pilot project. The course represents huge progress, as it is the first sanctioned public disc golf course in the Greater Victoria Area. Please treat the course with the upmost respect, as this really is our big chance to show Saanich and the surrounding municipalities why disc golf belongs. SIDGS has been working hard on this and we are very excited to share it with you! The course is great for first timers, yet still provides a challenge to more experience players. Come out and enjoy the 9 hole layout on beautiful sounding tonals, with a wide variety of shots required, we hope you have fun. Parking and hole #1 are at the Interurban Tech Park / Layritz Park Parking Lot. Stay tuned for the grand opening later in the month!
